When you need your NOLA fix Cajun Steamers is the place. The red beans and rice the fried green tomatoes and the voodoo chicken are a favorite!!!
Love to sit at the outside bar for lunch or dinner.  And a added bonus is when TK is playing music.....he is fantastic!!!
I only wish they served breakfast because if they did, I'm sure it would be delicious.

    SnowCrab Leg

I ordered Snowcrab leg this noon, the legs are great, but the body is too salt .

I told waiter this issue, she reply to me:"Lots people don't eat the body."Then she left.

I am so confused ,cause I always eat the body, and my friend eat too, include my American friends.

And the body is in the plate and I paid for it,why i better not to eat it?Other restaurants never said this to me,I love snowcrab leg,so I ate them at lots restaurants in lots place in my life.

And in the whole meal time, the waiter didn't come to ask if I need more cola。

I don't want give low star to the restaurant, cause I think that is unfair to other staffs working there.

But I want the management know about this issue, maybe will give some help .

But I won't go to this restaurant again.

This is not authenticate Cajun. I was so upset that I called over the manager and mentioned that this is NOT Cajun food. Jambalaya and the etouffee are not supposed to be dry! I nearly cried when I saw it.

Thankfully he comped our meals as this was awful! No way I'm ever going back nor am I suggesting this place to anyone especially when authentic Cajun food is nearby at the Po Boy Factory! And don't get me started on the prices - overpriced for the amount ‍

    The food was amazing.
My Appetizer was the spicy shrimp, large portion, tails removed and delicious. Course number 2 was the Cajun creole sausage and chicken soup, very delicious too. My main course was from the create your own portion of the menu. I selected the mahi mahi with creole sauce, it was amazing. Sides were the red beans and rice (when in Rome) and Cajun mash-potatoes they were also on point.

Food was pretty good. We celebrated my husband's birthday for lunch. Plenty of seating. It wasn't busy because we were there for a late lunch. My husband had the Catfish Ponchartrain (catfish with shrimp and crab stuffing and topped with crawfish Louie sauce. I had the Cajun seafood medley which was served in a casserole dish with toasted slices of bread.  Both dishes were great!  We also each got a side of fried green tomatoes which needed seasoning but was okay. One of our guest ordered a shrimp po-boy which she said she will definitely get again. Another guest ordered a large salad and topped with crawfish which she said needed seasoning Ahi Tuna. We got a birthday beignets with a caramel sauce, which were FABULOUS!! We will be back!!
